WILMINGTON, Mass., Jan. 09, 2017 — Security Innovation, a pioneer in software and car cyber security, announced today that it will be partnering with Autotalks Ltd. to supply its Aerolink® secure communications software for the Autotalks Vehicle to Everything (V2X) communications solutions.
Supporting the IEEE 1609.2 and ETSI security standards, Security Innovation’s Aerolink is the undisputed leader in securing Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communications. Aerolink has been selected to provide security and privacy for the 2017 Cadillac CTS, the first commercially available vehicle with built-in V2V capabilities. Aerolink has also been successfully implemented in the majority of Ann Arbor Safety Pilot vehicles through a program sponsored by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI).
