About The Position

Autotalks is a fabless semiconductor company devoted to vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications for manned and autonomous vehicles. Founded in 2008, the company is privately held with strong financial backing. The company’s headquarters are in Israel with offices in North America, Germany, France, China, Japan and Korea.

Autotalks is developing its next generation V2X devices, comprised from multiple subsystem (Baseband processor, Application processor, Security subsystem, Vehicle Connectivity). As a VLSI Architect you will lead the definition of our next generation devices working with multiple groups such as VLSI, Product, SW and DSP.

Position responsibilities include:

·        Leading the definition of the SoC architecture end to end, from IP level to chip level

·        Collaborate on System Architecture work items, with other R&D teams

·        IP selection

·        SoC datapath definition and performance analysis.

·        Define SoC’s hardware-firmware/SW partitioning and interfaces

·        Leading the definition of the Hardware Modem Architecture

·        Leading the Hardware Safety architecture of the device


Required qualifications and experience:

·        B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

·        5+ years experience in VLSI SoC Architecture

·        5+ years experience of Architecture and VLSI front end design

·        Experience with leading a definition of high performance SoCs, beginning to end at full chip scope

·        Experience with NoC, memory system design and CPU performance

·        Experience with SoC data path performance analysis

·        Experience with FUSA ISO26262 is an advantage

·        Experience with modem definition is an advantage

·        Experience with Security subsystem is an advantage
