We are looking for a superstar Legal Counsel to join Autotalks, reporting to the company CFO. You will serve as both, a strategic thought partner and subject matter expert for teams across the company and will have an exciting opportunity to lead the legal activities, including advising on a wide range of legal matters, local and international, focusing on commercial agreements, funding rounds, intellectual property, setting up new subsidiaries in foreign territories, compliance issues, employment matters, and more.
You will be responsible for:
-Day to day advice on a broad range of commercial matters
-You will work with Company’s VPs, providing a legal advice for their ongoing business requirments
-Assist and support on a wide variety of general legal matters: Business, operations, funding, Licensing, services, employment and more
-Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret a wide variety of commercial agreements, MPA with customers, vendor contracts, employment and partnership agreements
-Ensure corporate compliance of company entities, domestic and international
-Support corporate compliance processes such as entity level control, organizational policies and internal auditor
Apply for this role if you have:
-JD with membership in state bar in good standing and an excellent academic record
-At least 7 years of experience practicing law, as an in-house lawyer in a legal department of a high-tech company and in the commercial/Hi-tech department of a major law firm
-Experience negotiating client licensing contracts and other experience demonstrating an ability to manage and close commercial and legal negotiations
-Ability and drive to take ownership of projects and tasks
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills
-Mother-tongue level English
