About The Position

Autotalks is a fabless semiconductor company and a world leader in V2X chipset solutions. The company product is a complete System On a Chip (SOC) solution, integrating modem, security subsystems, embedded software and more in a single device, allowing a one stop shop of V2X functionality. Autotalks is the only company that provides a global automotive V2X solution supporting both C-V2X (PC5) and DSRC technologies in a state-of-the-art V2X device. Autotalks chipsets are used by top leading OEMs and Tier1s, and were awarded series production projects, enabling V2X to become a mass-market technology in the near term and make driving safer and more efficient.



The Technical Account Manager will be the main technical point of contact for customers in Germany and you will work tightly with Autotalks’ business and technical teams. 


  • Be the customer’s trusted advisor to achieving key technical millstones
  • Support customers on-site and remotely
  • Serve as a first line of technical support, including hands-on troubleshooting of SW and System issues
  • Work with the Customer Support team in HQ on complex issues, which cannot be resolved locally
  • Prepare failure analysis reports and clearly communicate them to the customer 
  • Facilitate technical communication between the customer and HQ, and turn-around customer requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Represent customer needs in the organization by impacting new feature definition, schedule and priority of bug resolution
  • Support pre-sale activities by training and introducing Autotalks offering
  • Provide technical training to customers and partners
  • Support trade shows, demos and technical society meetings as necessary
  • Report to Autotalks Director of Business Development in EU



  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 
  • At least 3 years developer experience with embedded C/C++
  • Fluent German and English (oral and written)
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Natural problem-solver
  • Proactive and business oriented 
  • A German resident 
  • Willingness to travel in Germany and EU – about 1/3 of the time


  • Experience as Pre-sales/FAE/Customer Support/systems engineering, preferably in wireless/semiconductor/automotive industries
  • Experience with embedded systems and embedded OS (Linux and RTOS, such as ThreadX
  • Knowledge and experience with V2X
  • Experience in HW design and troubleshooting
